Page Variables
Wiki page variables are used to store user defined data on a page for later use. Any number of page variables can be defined and used, but each can store a single value of either a string or numerical value. The same command is used to define and use page variables, but with different arguments.
\pagevar{name}{value} <-- define and initialize a page variable
\pagevar[page=path]{name} <-- use a page variable from the same page or a specific page
\pagevar{duedate}{Friday, August 31}
\pagevar{duedate}
- name
-
The name of the page variable, which must be unique on the given page. If the same name is used by a second definition command, the value of the variable is changed to the new value. When using a page variable, it must have been defined before it can be used.
- value
-
The value that the page variable is set to. This should be either a string or a numerical value. It can be the result of a command, which would be executed before the variable is set.
- page
-
To use a page variable from a different page, indicate the path to the specific page.
